Congress Can Tell Obama To Pound Sand

Pound oil sand.

Capitol Hill lawmakers probably have the Constitution at their back if
they require a permit for the Keystone XL oil sands pipeline that President Obama rejected days ago, according to the nonpartisan Congressional Research Service.

Our state Senator, who is no where near as conservative as I would like is right on this.

Sen. John Hoeven (R-N.D.), who is planning a separate bill to put approval in the hands of Congress, requested the study.

“I
think this confirms what we have been saying all along – Congress has
the authority under the Constitution to approve the Keystone pipeline,”
said Ryan Bernstein, Hoeven’s deputy chief of staff and legal
counsel.

“It gives great weight to not only our bill but any bill
Congress considers,” he added.

We are a energy driven country and Canada is a better trading partner than any Mid-East country ever will be.

Man up Republicans. Call him on this. Tell Obama to pound sand!

Liar In Chief (still a liar) Lies Again

His green energy investments have created 2.7 million jobs!

They must be in China.

The Wookie Burger?

The 99%ers at it again...

BLT Steak describes its "Obama" burger as an 8-ounce American Kobe burger with bacon, cheddar cheese, burnt tomato ketchup, and scallion mustard.

Hypocrite's the lot of them.

"The Obama" is one of 5 burgers listed on the restaurant's "Political Burger Board."
At $28, it is the second most expensive burger, right after "The Bi
Partisan," which costs $32. The Bi Partisan is also an 8 ounce Kobe
beef burger, topped with lobster, cheddar cheese and "black truffle
buttermilk dressing."  The other three burgers--including "The Pork
Barrel"--cost either $16 or $18.

I don't care who gets the Republican nomination anymore, I just want these two phonies gone.

The Race About Race

Any doubts about what Obama is going to run on should be dispelled by now, its not his record.

“Booing a black journalist on an issue affecting not just black
Americans, but white Americans, poor people on MLK day is a really
telling momen
t, I think in this Republican race. The thing that
they are trying to establish is this narrative of ‘the takers versus
the makers.’ The Republican Party has been doing this over and over
again and it’s a bid to re-envision the American social compact.
Basically, if you can’t make it in this society, too bad, we are cutting
you loose,” Wagner said on Al Sharpton’s MSNBC show.

He is going to get plenty of help from the usual suspects...
